1. Set the smoker on your glass
- Prepare your drink and add the ice before you begin.
- Rest the wooden disc securely across the rim of a stable rocks glass.
- Place the closed barrel horizontally on the disc, then lift off its upper half to reveal the metal screen.
2. Add a small pinch of chips
- Choose a wood from the 6 included tins: Cherry, Pear, Apple, Oak, Walnut or Peach.
- Spread a small pinch over the screen, leaving space for air to pass through.
- Keep the remaining chips dry and close the tin.
3. Light the chips and finish your pour
- Follow the torch’s supplied instructions. Direct its flame at the chips, keeping it clear of the wooden rim.
- Remove the flame once the chips smoulder. Let the smoke collect in the glass for about 30 seconds.
- Lift the smoker carefully and take in the aroma before your first sip.
A butane torch comes free with your order and ships separately. For setup and refilling, see the torch guide.
Ready for the next glass
Set the smoker on a heatproof surface and let the chips and metal screen cool completely. Empty the spent chips, brush away the ash and wipe the wood dry. Next time, try a different wood with the same whiskey to find your preferred finish.
